The most festive holiday on the Jewish calendar was tragically transformed into a day of tragedy with the brutal murders and kidnappings of our brothers and sisters.

The updates from Israel are deeply distressing and horrifying. We’ve all seen the heart-wrenching scenes and heard the tragic news. It’s unfathomable. Ein Milim - there are really no words.

As Jews we are all connected. We stand together with our extended family in Israel with love and support and with shock and disbelief at the incredible cold-blooded barbarity of human beings.

Together, we mourn the precious souls whose lives were brutally taken and pray for the safe return of our brothers and sisters who were taken hostage, for the recovery of the wounded, and for the safety and success of the IDF.

What can we do for our brothers and sister in Israel?

Kol Yisrael Arievim Ze LaZe - The Jewish people are one organism and one body. In situations like these the Lubavitcher Rebbe would always emphasize the incredible spiritual power we all have and the impact that such power can exert on the safety and security of the other ‘limbs’ in our extended ‘bodies’.

Please join us for a special gathering of prayer and solidarity in support of our brothers and sisters in Israel.
